Personally I say keep Vista and the Quad-Core despite what the others have said.

Vista doesn’t have as many bugs as it was first released, Many people just went with what other people have said without trying the Operating System them selfs.

Quad-Cores will be recognized by games in the future many people are getting them, and gaming companies will want to take advantage of it. As well as the Q6600 is great at over clocking (Can reach 3.0GHz stable, Easily) and runs Call of Duty 4 very well. The only Con I see in your specs is that your going to have 2 monitors with that video card. It CAN run it but don’t expect it to do a great job, It will cut into your performance.

Also is your Memory Dual-Channel capable? It increases performance noticeably.
