What PS3 (PlayStation 3) is best for me?
I want to buy a PS3. I have no PS2 or PS1 games, so I'm not worried about compatibility. I have wifi (wireless network) in my home as I need 80 just to go ahead w / my wireless settings? Are there other benefits to having the 80 GB in 40 GB? I just want to connect my 56 "DLP and surround sound, sitting in my chair VRocker game and the game. Thanks in advance. I have a network setup at home with updates to the PC …. very both have a lot of card readers, USB ports, etc. Did you ever need to use the ports on my PS3 if I have equipment to use? Both the 40 and 80 gb has Wi-Fi out of the box. The only major difference between the two is the compatibility with PS2 games, but it is important to you so you can skip the 80 gb if you want to save $ 100. But remember that you can not and will not play any PS2 games on the 40 gb, so you better make sure you do not have plans to play PS2 games on your PS3. The 80 gb also has 4 USB ports and 3 units flash, but not so important unless there is a lot of electronics that use different formats, then it might be important to you when you want to send images, music, etc. Personally, I still get the 80 gb though I have no plans to play PS2 games on it because 1. you never know if they will play PS2 games.
