microsoft wireless mouse?
Can I use a new MS wireless mouse to replace my existing MS wireless mouse. Currently my mouse and keyboard connect together on the same wireless USB device. Could the new mouse be detected and be used with the same bluetooth device.

Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 1000 Standard Keyboard + Optical Mouse
Unfortunately it appears not. I had a problem with my keyboard (7000) which came with keyboard/mouse kit. After a year I just went and bought the same kit again. Since the mouse worked I figured I’d just swap out the keyboard.
I couldn’t find a way to get old mouse/new keyboard to work with either wireless USB device. Turns out they are set during the manufacturing process.
